Don’t Judge a Hotel Amsterdam Centro by its Star Rat
It can be tempting to judge a hotel Amsterdam centro entirely by the hotels star rating when deciding if the hotel provides a good value. The star ratings seen on hotel booking websites are not based on the hotels quality but by what the hotel offers. This can be quite deceptive to people unfamiliar with booking hotels online.

A cheap two star hotel may be beautifully furnished, run by a caring, helpful family, and very clean. The low star rating could be the result of the hotel not having a lift, a reception desk manned 24 hours a day, or the lack of a swimming pool.
A four star hotel may have received the rating because they have a lift, bigger rooms, and a pool. What the star ratings don’t tell you is that the lift is always broken and the pool is only open for an hour or two a day. Things like threadbare carpeting, stained sheets, and surly staff don’t figure at all in a hotels star rating yet most travelers wish to avoid hotels like this
