Tourism Cooperation With the Minister of Tourism of Ecuador and Spain
The secretary general of Tourism and Domestic Trade, Joan Mesquite, has signed a tourism cooperation agreement with the Minister of Tourism of Ecuador, Freddy Ehlers Azurite, to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism between both countries.
The agreement aims to encourage increased visitor traffic between the two countries and support cooperation between enterprises and organizations operating in the field of tourism. Through the agreement, the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade and the Ecuador Ministry of Tourism and encourage cooperation between private sectors, facing tourism investment. Spain and Ecuador exchange information on tourism statistics and legislation, as well as research in the tourism sector and encourage different forms of bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on knowledge sharing and practical experiences among organizations and institutions of the two countries in tourism.
