Nice passing, here’s little help for the possible trip to Prague … indeed, a charming city, also manageable, though crowded tourist …
Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and the largest city in the region of Bohemia. It has a privileged location in the heart of Europe and is well connected with neighboring countries, making it one of the most visited destinations on the continent. Traditionally have had other names such as The Golden City, The City of Hundred Towers and The Heart of Europa.Praga union consists of five ancient cities and is bounded by the river Vltava. Has traditionally been the political, cultural and economic of the Czech Republic. Prague currently has more than 1.2 million people.
Prague International Airport (Ursine Airport, PRG) is located about 15 kilometers west of the city and has 3 terminals. Getting to Prague from here:
-Bus 119: from Terminal 1 and 2 and reach Dejvická, where you can connect with the subway line. The price is 26CZK (less than 1 €) and the ticket you can buy in the newsagents at the airport and on vending machines outside the terminal. The journey will take about 20 minutes.
-Bus 100: Same as above but the journey ends in Slicing, where you can connect with the metro B line. Travel time about 15 minutes.
-Airport Express Bus: The price is 50CZK and is recommended if you’re going to take a train from Central Station. It takes 35 minutes and left the main train station (where you can link to the line C).
-Bus 179 and 225: only recommended to go to very specific sites. The destination stop is Novel but vice south of the city (metro line B). It takes about 45 minutes.
-Bus 510 (night): If you arrive after midnight, you can take this bus to Divac Sara, where you can connect with the tram 51.
-Transfer service to / from the hotel. It has a very cheap price, especially for groups. The price of a car to the city center is 20 € and supports up to 4 people.
